Community Soccer Outreach 2019

Soccer Programs

The Community Soccer Outreach recreational program teaches soccer through the use of smaller teams and fields, maximizing participation by all. The program also allows young players to learn and enjoy soccer in a positive and fun environment, usually in their own community with the same children with whom they go to school with. Every child is guaranteed playing time during every game.

The Community Soccer Outreach League is a recreational lleague that emphasizes fun and fair play over scores and rankings. The teams have two weekly practices that last between one to one and a half hours. Games are played against other Community Soccer Outreach League teams. Practice days, times, and locations will be determined after the coaches meeting before the start of the season.

                  U9 Team

description.

Our U9 Soccer League is offered in both the Spring and Fall to children who are league ages 8-9.

(age as of December 31st of that current year). This is more competitive than the U9 level, but the focus is still very much on skill progression and fundamentals. This is the 1st time a referee is introduced to the field, standings are kept and an end of the season tournament is offered.  This is also the 1st time boy's and girl's are split into separate leagues.  Teams will compete on a 55 x 35 field playing 7 v. 7 with a goalie while using a size 4 ball.  U11 teams generally practice twice a week until the season begins dropping to 1 practice per week once games begin. Practices can be held during the week and on weekends. A U10 team will play 1 game per week (usually once on a Saturday) for 7-9 weeks. Participants can expect practices and games to be held at Wheaton Bible Church 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185.
